Good news - Jasper has been found and is now back with his owner; police investigations are still continuing. Sadly, Irby Pets on the Wirral had their shop burgled in the early hours of Thursday 25th February 2010 and their African Grey parrot was stolen. Here is a brief description of the bird provided to us by Jayne from Irby Pets: "My lovely parrot is a 10 yr old male African Grey. He has no distinguishing marks from any other greys, he is in good condition feather wise . He has a split ring on his right foot but I dont know the numbers on it. A good talker ,sentences include Toni,Holly,Isla,Andy,Come on then,Sit down and all the usual wolf whistles, phone ringing, laughing, hello and goodbye. Sadly not chipped." If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of this bird, or you think you may know of an African Grey being offered for sale that possibly fits this description, please email
